Robert Pfeiffer, PMP, CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), is a Senior Manager at Watkins Government Services LLC, with more than 18 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DOD) and civilian agencies. He specializes in IT audit remediation, financial improvement and audit readiness, enterprise reporting transformation, and large-scale program execution. His expertise spans CMMC, FIAR compliance, A-123 internal controls, program and portfolio management, cloud-based system modernization, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), POA&M lifecycle management, and executive reporting. Robert has led audit readiness and remediation efforts across the federal government, implementing structured governance and reporting frameworks that resulted in the closure of more than 100 audit findings within one year and a reduction of findings by over 70 percent in coordination with CIO, OIG, and GAO stakeholders. He has directed large federal portfolios with oversight of more than 50 personnel and subcontractors.  His experience includes working with key regulatory frameworks such as CMMC, DFARS, OMB A-123, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and FISMA. He has led the implementation of RPA within a large Defense agency, transitioned organizations from spreadsheet-based tracking to enterprise cloud reporting platforms, and designed Oracle GRC and PMIS solutions to support audit readiness programs. Robert has also developed executive level dashboards using Power BI and Qlik.
